Call of Duty: The Heat Promo Teaser

This design for a promotional teaser for Call of Duty Pop-up merch booth is associated with one of their seasons, “The Heat”. Thus, the design for the poster and t-shirt is inspired by this season which displays characters or figures that are known in the game. The elements used in the design such as glowing fires, smoke, fiery sparks, and dim environment adds up to the fierce concept of “The Heat”.

The concept for the whole project is to bring back the whole band in the Philippines once again. It has a tropical and Filipino inspired theme in the teaser poster that illustrates some of the landmarks in the Philippines such as the Rizal Park, and Mayon Volcano in Albay with their iconic walk across the pedestrian crossing in Abbey Road in London. It also remembers the 1966 The Beatles Concert Tour in Germany, Japan and the Philippines. As a fan of old rock music, the Beatles is one of the popular and in demand rock bands that is also considered a legend in the music industry.
OVO’s Certified Lover Boy

Certified Lover Boy is the 6th studio album of Canadian rapper Drake. The album was released on September 3, 2021, by OVO Sound and Republic Records. The promotional poster is to advertise the upcoming album and merch, the theme for the poster represents royalty and elegance, the portrait of Drake signifies his previous iconic album “Take Care”.
For the merch, the design represents a minimal and streetwear fashion, the iconic cupid logo of CLB is at the front while the bouquet of flowers and title of the album can be found at the back of the shirt, the shirt is available in 2 colors: cream and black.
BTS Map of the Soul: Shadow

Both the design of the poster and shirt was rich in imagery. As we can see, BTS Suga in the middle was surrounded by anonymous people clothed in black holding phones pointed at him. Digging deeper on the context, it is inspired by philosophical theories of Carl Jung’s into mapping a human being's psyche — or "map of the soul." According to Carl Jung, "shadow," implies our weaknesses and darkest desires. Therefore, the colors and font used were suited since it was insinuated to the concept that to attain happiness, one must make peace with one's demons; shadow.
TAKE OFF: Call of Duty Promotional Poster

The poster concept is to make the viewer feel that they are part of the poster. As a result, I used a tactical scope to frame the soldier (main subject). The title and subtexts are positioned on the soldier to attract the focal point of the viewers and have their attention to the said date and location of the event.

The t-shirt design aims for a streetwear vibe where the front part is a skull printed surrounded with a cloud of smoke to portray the game's concept. The War Is Here text signifies the catchphrase in the Call of Duty game on the back part of the shirt. A portion of the Call of Duty Map is also printed with sci-fi elements similarly shown in the in-game scene.

A supply airdrop is a feature in the game that periodically lands across the game containing rare items/supplies. “Airdrop is coming” is used as a teaser line to market and anticipate the upcoming event and merchandise with a visual of soldiers fighting to acquire supply airdrop.

The promotional shirt uses a two-tone design with the game logos and in-game soldier visuals. The design is inspired by an Esports and/or pro-player jersey which also contains the company branding of the game. The design concept aims to bring a professional player approach.
Positions Album Merch Teaser

The poster design aims to show the transparency of the emotions portrayed in the Positions Album. If you look closely there is a grain texture overlay, this represents the 60s aesthetic of the album. The text of the album title represents the complexity of human emotions which are expressed in the album.

The aesthetic of the hoodie design is chic and sleek so that it can be casually worn every day. The photo chosen of Ariana Grande represents women power promoting feminism which is very relevant in today.
